Decathlon has a distinctive management style that shifts away from more traditional models. We want to promote frank, open communication within the company and foster the personal and professional development of our employees.
Within this framework, each employee has a one-on-one meeting with their manager every four to six weeks. During these one-on-ones, your manager will point out where you’re excelling and where you could improve. Most importantly, the two of you will build a relationship of trust and support. Each employee is then able to work with greater freedom, while also being held accountable for their actions.
In addition, employees are part of teams that foster collaboration, allowing everyone to work and play better together.
Several internal anonymous surveys have also been designed to determine our employees’ well-being in the workplace.
