Becoming a member allows you to save your purchases on your account (removing the need for paper invoices), participate in our sports events and activities, follow a training program with the Décathlon Coach App, find the best place to practice your favorite sport... and access more sports. Best of all, becoming a member is absolutely free!

FAQ

HOW TO SAVE MY PURCHASES ON MY MEMBER ACCOUNT?

To save your in-store purchases to your account, you just need to show your member barcode (displayed in member emails or available in your Décathlon Mobile App) when making your purchase. If you have neither of those, your email address at the cash is enough.

Online orders are automatically saved to your member account once the payment is processed.

WHY AM I NOT RECEIVING DÉCATHLON EMAILS?

You would like to receive our sport emails? Good idea! They are full of great advice, fun events and many other surprises. To make sure that you are subscribed, go to your account, choose "My choice of communication" and click on YES.

BECOMING MEMBER, IS IT FREE?

Becoming a member of Decathlon is totally free! Our goal is to offer you a maximum of sports and we believe this is the best reward for our sport-eager customers.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY CUSTOMER DATA?

Your personal information will never be released to any Third Party entities. Please feel free to review our Privacy Policy for more information about how seriously we take the privacy of your personal data.


WHY SHOULD I COMPLETE ACCOUNT INFORMATION?

The fields you complete in your member account help us get to know you better. The more we know, the better we can support you in your sport journey.

For example, your adress allows us to communicate with you locally. Knowing your favorite sports helps us to send you newsletters and invitations about activities regarding those sports.

SHOULD I BE A CUSTOMER TO BE A MEMBER? WHAT ARE MY OBLIGATIONS?

Becoming a member is completely voluntary, with absolutely no obligations. It does, however, give you access to all the member benefits and activities. You do not need to be a customer to benefit from the membership program.

DOES MY MEMBER ACCOUNT EXPIRE?

No, your member account is valid for life! If it stays inactive a long period, we will suggest you to delete it.

CAN WE SHARE A MEMBER ACCOUNT?

While we do reccomend that each user have their own membnership, sharing one can be done, and is most often seen with families. Why do we reccomend that you each have your own? If you practice swimming and your partner is more into boxing, it would be best if each of you has an account in order to receive personalised emails and invitations to events related to your favorite sport.

AS A MEMBER DO I EVEN SHOW MY INVOICE AT THE TIME OF STORE EXCHANGE?

If your purchases have been saved to your member account then no paper invoice whatsoever is needed to exchange, return or to make a claim on the product warranty.

No need to be an Olympic champion to become a member.
